Even during the low season Khun Naree and her team keep busy. They visit the developers and clients who have property to sell and keep an eye on what is constantly changing in Pattaya.Although they have been happy to be in Jomtien with its strong Scandinavian community, it was decided that the time had come to move from their office on Soi Chaiyapruek. I found out why.

Where previously they had good presence from the road side and plenty of parking for customers at Income Mall, a less than sympathetic landlord changed all that. He introduced new rental and vehicle cleaning businesses both front and back of the Gustaf office. So with less road side visibility and fewer spaces available for customer parking the move away by Collingbournes Auction house (which had provided many new customers and walk-ins) was the final straw.

So what now? Well I went to visit their charming new 2 floor premises on Soi Khao Talo – which has plenty of available parking and a really good roadside presence. It is also diagonally opposite the large Krungsiri back and for me. more importantly, just a couple of shops down from the Lankanom Cake Shop! Early days but the team are already loving this new location with friends and customers around the various villages nearby and already a sense of more Europeans, Americans and Australians in the area.

Lucky the newest addition to the Gustaf team is also loving her new daytime home. This sweetest Golden Retriever/ Labrador mix has been rescued from an owner unable to look after her any more. With a perfect name she has indeed been lucky to be adopted by the Gustaf team and is already proving a popular presence in the office. Many developers call in just to say hello to her the latest being Khun Bew from Global Top Group!
