LAY BEACH CLUB
With lots of lovely beach clubs and restaurants opening all the way from Na Jomtien to Bang Saray, it has seemed that central Pattaya has been flagging somewhat behind.
But no longer! With the arrival of Lay Beach Club there is now a new, amazing beach club right on Pattaya Beach Road Discover Pattaya were delighted to attend its grand opening hosted by Asset World
Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), in collaboration with Melia Hotels International.
Melia Hotels International is a Spanish hotel group headquartered in Palma de Mallorca. It operates over 350 hotels in more than 40 countries.
Melia Pattaya Hotel officially opened in January 2025 and continues to maintain the brand’s standard of luxury, sustainability, and innovation. We were able to see this first hand while enjoying a buggy ride from the hotel frontage down to the beach club. Remarking on the beautifully landscaped ground along the way we were told that it has been called “The One Day Park”. This is because it was completed in just one day.
Hard to believe when you see
the quality of the lawns and greenery used but when Asset World is part of a project, amazing things can happen very quickly. So this lovely space, they hope will be used for the beneffit of the general pubiic perhaps exercise, come for early morning Yoga or to bring
Once at Lay Beach Club itself we were delighted to see that it really is one of the highlights of Melia Pattaya Hotel, and a much needed, first class, lifestyle space right in the centre of Pattaya. Even more breathtaking is the terrace upstairs complete with large LED screen which would be just the most perfect space for private partles, functions and events with its direct sea views overlooking Pattaya Beach.
As the sun went down there was delicious Spanish inspired food such as Paella, cold cuts, cocktails and wine to enjoy. Then for a special treat a fire show. A very impressive launch for what will surely become a very impressive landmark on Pattaya Beach Road.
