TRADING TO DISCOVERING

Welcome to the 3rd edition of our new-look magazine Discover Pattaya – doesn’t time fly? Anyway as regular readers will already know The Pattaya Trader from its inception some 20 years ago has gone through many changes. Once a “trading bible” for anyone who wanted to buy or sell a car, bike, furniture, etc. the earliest magazines were covered in advertisements. Move forward to our black and red themed magazine with laminated covers, and much of the clutter removed although still with black and white classifieds for the second-hand trade of readers’ goods, and forward again to 2020 with our newest rendition. The black and white pages have now been taken out as has the flip the book format to give a 100% Colour, Glossy Lifestyle magazine, with improved paper quality although it still remains free of charge. In this 3rd edition we begin to feature some of our articles in both English and Thai to acknowledge the increasing number of Thai readers who pick up the magazine whilst they are visiting Pattaya from Bangkok and elsewhere in the country. . The 3 Pattaya Trader Facebook sites Pattaya Trader Group. Pattaya Trader Page and Pattaya Trader Expat Ladies Page are all still available to serve the community and Pattaya Trader Group is especially great for buying and selling goods – although no spammers please. This now leaves the magazine – Discover Pattaya devoted to showing what Pattaya has to offer – especially the unexpected. We want to show our international visitors who read the online magazine via our website pattayatrader.com that Pattaya has so much more to offer than the usual cliched expectations.
